Maybe it is a fish farm in a way but I'm quite sure it isn't the industrialised, commercialised type of fish farm you talk about in your "Swee Chioh Aquaculture" article. What I know from the owner is that he just gets baby crabs and some fish from a friend and helps to rear them and sell them back to his friend. He had just bought over the place and intends to rear and catch some of his own fishes after renovating the place.

The S$50 kelong trip thing I told you in the email is not this kelong but someplace else that another friend told me about.

HI all, glad to know that many of us are interested and concern about kelong.

Here's a link to my flickr account for a kelong off the north coat of Ubin.http://www.flickr.com/photos/kelongfishing/
Currently, the AVA enforces a no vistor rule to the kelong. The kelong ah pek said AVA worried that people would fall off & drown!!! What BS!
