Greece Is King!
The order of universe has gone wrong!! Greece are the Euro Champions. How unbelievable is that!! What happened to France, Spain, Italy, Holland, Germany, England? What happened to the football greats? My heart goes out this morning to a weeping C. Ronaldo. It is indeed the end for the Portuguese golden generation. Figo, Couto, Rui Costa. Never to win a major championship with their country, just when they thought this could be the one, right in front of their countrymen, their dreams shattered where it all began. To add on to the insult, they had to end their international career in defeat right in front of their countrymen, on their home soil. I was still telling my sis last night that no way was Greece going to win this because she placed her bets on Greece. It just cannot happen. But it did!! Greece is Euro champions- guess this makes Singapore's 2010 World Cup plans more believable...Nah!!! That is way off the realistic charts!! Haha!! Perhaps it is time we got Otto to be our coach! We really need someone like him.
